1、 Project Overview

This project aims to create a 1:50 scale tower crane model, with a focus on reproducing the main structure, lifting mechanism, and support system of a real crane. The height of the model is about 80 centimeters, and it adopts a production scheme of metal main structure combined with plastic details, pursuing a 90% restoration degree, highlighting the power and industrial beauty of construction machinery.

2、 Material selection and main structure

The main tower is made of precision galvanized steel pipes to ensure verticality and structural strength. The balance arm and crane arm are constructed with aluminum alloy profiles and reinforced with internal ribs. The counterweight block is made of solid cast iron to ensure the stability of the model. The cab is injection molded with ABS plastic and the windows are made of transparent acrylic.

3、 Main component production

Tower structure: segmented design, with each tower section connected by threads to ensure installation accuracy

Rotary mechanism: using micro bearings to achieve smooth 360 degree rotation

Lifting system: Galvanized steel cables are used for the steel wire rope, and the hook assembly is precision cast brass

Supporting frame: I-beams are made of steel plates laser cut and welded into shape

4、 Detail processing technology

Safety barrier: made of welded stainless steel wire, with uniform and consistent spacing

Operation platform: Anti slip steel plate adopts etching process to express texture

Hydraulic system: Copper pipes are bent and formed, and micro metal parts are used for joints

Surface treatment: All metal parts undergo phosphating treatment to enhance paint adhesion
